Our values

01
Visionary Excellence

Strong narratives are the foundation of everything. We combine innovative thinking with timeless material sensibility to craft environments where every detail earns its place — and where the whole ignites a sense of wonder in those who experience it.

02
Optimistic Integrity

Every brief holds the potential for something singular. We approach each project with genuine curiosity, source with conscience and deliver with the conviction that beauty and responsibility are not in opposition — they are the same ambition.

03
Bold Confidence

The best spaces exude a sense of effortless authority. We bring together textures, finishes and colours that hold each other in tension — and I believe it is the unexpected touch, precisely placed, that makes a space unmistakably yours.

About

Francesca Morroni is an interior design director and creative force whose work operates at the intersection of radical architectural vision and deeply human sensory experience. Her London-based studio — built on 15 years of international practice across luxury residential, hospitality, retail and large-scale commercial projects — functions as both a creative laboratory and a strategic design partner, delivering work that is as operationally rigorous as it is visually extraordinary.

Design, at its best, is a visceral, evolving conversation between a space and the people who inhabit it. Her role is to orchestrate that conversation — to find the precise moment where architecture, materiality, light and human experience converge into something that couldn't exist anywhere else, or belong to anyone else. At the core of her practice is the pursuit of meraviglia: that Italian instinct for wonder, for the moment when a space reveals itself as more than expected. It is a standard she applies equally to a large mixed-use district and a single bespoke door handle.

Her early career established a foundation of rare breadth and depth. As Senior Designer at Design Research Studio / Tom Dixon, she directed spatial strategy across hospitality, flagship retail and brand environments — including the Tom Dixon headquarters at Coal Drops Yard and the interior narrative of the award-winning Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney. These projects affirmed an ethos of material authority without excess, and narrative precision without rigidity.

As Project Lead at Heatherwick Studio, she took on commissions of genuine civic and cultural scale. She authored the interior identity of Changi Airport Terminal 5 — translating Singapore's layered natural and cultural landscape into an emotive passenger journey for 50 million annual users. She defined the Creative DNA of a 155,000 m² mixed-use district in Xi'an, leading a multidisciplinary team of 15 to balance cultural heritage with futuristic commercial ambition. These projects established her as a designer equally fluent in the intimate register of a single room and the complex orchestration of infrastructure at urban scale.

The studio

A living room at night with a floor lamp casting shadows on the wall and a green leafy plant near the lamp.

Francesca Morroni Design Studio continues this trajectory — bringing the same creative vision and strategic rigour to luxury residential and hospitality commissions across Europe and internationally. Current work includes a private residence in South of France, conceived as a living sanctuary of rhythm, ritual and material restraint. Each project is developed from first concept through to completed build, with the founder's hand present at every stage of the process.

The studio is guided by a belief that sustainability and beauty are the same ambition — that the most considered spaces are also the most responsible ones. Morroni works with a select group of skilled artisans and makers who share this conviction, sourcing with conscience and crafting with the precision that distinguishes work built to last from work built to photograph.

Driven by curiosity, grounded in craft and uncompromising in standard, Francesca Morroni continues to build a body of work that shapes how people inhabit the world.
